I have a Ph.D. in linguistics from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York, and I have spent the last ten years as a professor, teacher, and tutor for thousands of students throughout the Hudson Valley.I have helped students in linguistics, history, early childhood development, womens’ studies, queer studies, language learning, and numerous other subjects.I have seen firsthand how college students think and process information, and have helped develop individualized strategies for students to best succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Individual 60-minute sessions: $150 - to work on coursework, subject-specific tutoring, and development of executive functioning skills, including weekly ‘check-ins’ to ensure accountability and preparedness for the future (semester and half-semester packages are also available at reduced rates)
Three-hour college “boot camp” session: $350: a college preparedness ‘boot camp’ session that discusses what to expect in your first semester of college, tips and tricks to maximize success, and the opportunity to ask questions and get honest answers from a professor who’s been there, done that!
